Review by hotel critic
My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Haus Schönwald in Freiburg, and I must say, our experience exceeded all expectations. the cozy shared kitchen was a delightful surprise with its well-stocked cookware and electric kettle, making it incredibly convenient to prepare our own Bavarian meals. the charming garden furniture on the terrace allowed us to enjoy our morning coffees surrounded by the peaceful ambiance of the backyard, creating a truly authentic Bavarian experience. the spacious room was not only immaculately clean but also featured a flat-screen TV for some evening entertainment after a day of exploring the historical center, conveniently located just a few minutes away. the proximity to local dining options like Cafe Auszeit and Cohibar made it easy for us to order delicious meals whenever we wanted a taste of the local cuisine. Haus Schönwald truly stands out for its attention to detail, exceptional hospitality, and commitment to providing an authentic Bavarian experience. I highly recommend this lovely establishment to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Freiburg, and I look forward to returning in the future.
